About
I like Linux, networks, and finding out how systems work on the inside. Most of what I build either runs on a server, hardens one, or simulates one.
Projects
-
Project River Zero
A hacking simulation game, built by a team of four. I develop the simulated operating system: file system, command processing and network. Prototype on itch.io.
-
Homelab
Two Raspberry Pis: a media server behind a VPN kill switch, Pi-hole with Unbound, Home Assistant and Paperless-ngx. Everything is reachable only over Tailscale. This site is the one exception: a Cloudflare Tunnel, no open ports. Nightly encrypted backups.
-
Homelab agent
An AI assistant for the homelab, built as a small plugin system. It writes a morning briefing (weather, school timetable changes, calendar, mail, parcels), checks the servers every five minutes and restarts failed services. It answers questions in a private chat and through Siri.
Built security-first: scripts collect the data and the model only reads it, with no tools by default. Anything that changes the system is a whitelisted action that waits for my approval on the phone, with signed buttons and rate limits. More than 300 automated tests.
-
Scripts that harden a Linux system (SSH, users, file permissions, services) and a check script that verifies the result.
-
A web app behind Caddy (HTTPS) and a ModSecurity WAF, with PHP and MariaDB.
-
Website for my father's business, designed, built and published by me.
Certificates
-
CompTIA IT Fundamentals (ITF+)
-
Cloudflight Coding Contest
Took part in five contests in a row (CCC 37 to 41), each in the classic and the school round.
